As-salamu alaykum
With the rapid escalation of confusion, misinterpretation, and extremism in today’s world, it has become increasingly demanding to adhere to one set of ideas for the Muslim community, particularly for the young generation. Following true Islamic principles is a challenge now and the pressing need to filter out the innovations from true practice is growing its urgency. Though some people are working day and night to address this problem, however, in the absence of widespread concern and true interest in attaining proper knowledge of Islam the problems cannot be cut from its root. Keeping that in mind a few brothers initially joined together with the desire to understand the interpretation of the Quran in a way that no dubiety can last long enough to deviate them from their true intentions. The small group then expanded quickly and metamorphosed into a beautiful big family of students and young professionals, living in the US, all with the same quest for learning Islam the proper way.
For a year the group continued its study sessions related to the basic understanding of the Quran and Sunnah. As the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) described the believers as structures, each part strengthening the other, likewise the group has inculcated a sense of brotherhood and a bond of faith among its members within this period. The group felt that the pursuit of a strong attachment to the tenets of the Quranic teachings and religious practices has cemented this beautiful bond and encouraged them to seek further. The group has then decided to establish a well-organized platform having an all-encompassing, but not exhaustive, syllabus and a set of structured guidelines for its smooth run. The current website is the reflection of this decision.
The Quran has specifically prescribed for the believers to hold firmly to the rope of Allah and never be divided. Therefore, one of the primary goals of the group is to attain unity and observe Islam collectively. Regardless of class, the disparity of any kind, differing views or perspectives the group aims at developing an environment where everyone can be benefited from true Islamic knowledge and religious spirituality.
